JOB PURPOSE
The Marketing Officer will be responsible for managing the overall marketing strategy to drive sales while also creating and managing content for advertising materials, websites, and social media platforms, aiming to engage the target audience and foster customer relationships. He/she should possess a deep understanding of consumer behaviour and market trends, be creative thinkers, and have excellent communication and analytical skills. In today’s digital age, familiarity with online marketing tools and platforms is also crucial for success in this role. Balancing creativity with analytical insight, as Marketing Officer you must innovate while measuring the pulse of market dynamics ensuring alignment with the company’s core values, Accountability, Care and Trust.

 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  •  Leads the all marketing projects within the M Pharmacy Team and develops and manages the marketing campaigns.
  • Research and analyses market trends, competitor offerings, demographics, and other information toward the development and execution of winning marketing strategies.
  • Use research findings and analysis to provide direction to the rest of the team regarding upcoming marketing projects, new products or services, and overall strategy.
  • Identifies areas for growth and improvement in product offerings, sales tactics, marketing strategy and promotional activities.
  • Devise all marketing campaigns and plans before they are implemented.
  • Propose and execute activities around product advertising, packaging, media channels and branding.
  • Maintain the department’s marketing budget and ensures all marketing activities are cost-effective and remain within same.
  • Monitor all marketing and sales performance and adjusts strategies as needed.
  • Adhere to and implements all company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement marketing plans and strategies to achieve business goals.
  • Create and manage marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, and traditional marketing.
  • Develop and maintain marketing materials, such as brochures, presentations, and website content.
  • Coordinate with external agencies and vendors as needed.
  • Track and measure marketing performance to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Stay up to date with the latest marketing trends and technologies.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Company.
 EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • BSc. Marketing, Business Management, or related field.
 EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • At least 5 years’ work experience in a similar capacity.
  • Experience in Financial Analytics in relations to Marketing.
  • Experience in the retail industry will be considered an asset.
 SKILLSET REQUIRED
  • In-depth knowledge of Marketing Strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of product.
 CORE COMPETENCIES
  • Strong interest in helping deliver exceptional and consistent customer service.
  • Resilient, with ability to maintain a positive attitude in challenging situations.
  • Adaptable/Flexible.
  • Ability to work alone or as a part of a team.
