The Research and Development (R&D) Officer is responsible for creating and improving value-added food products that align with market trends, customer preferences, and company standards. This role combines culinary expertise, food science, and innovative thinking to develop high-quality, flavourful products while ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine value-added food products, incorporating market trends, customer preferences, and innovative technologies.
- Ensure all products meet food safety regulations and company quality policies while maintaining consistency.
- Optimize manufacturing processes and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising product quality.
- Collaborate with internal teams and conduct market research to align R&D efforts with business goals and customer needs.
Requirements:
- BSc or Diploma in Food Technology, Food Science or a related discipline
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working in food manufacturing, product development or R&D.
- Experience in culinary techniques, flavour development, and food preparation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
