Work relationships
The Turnaround Construction Coordinator reports to the Turnaround and Projects Manager.
Purpose
The Turnaround Construction Coordinator is a member of the MTAP department.
- The Turnaround Construction Coordinator shall deliver turnaround and project services in collaboration with other maintenance personnel, engineering, and Ops/projects delivery teams to achieve safe, effective and efficient shutdowns. This entails delivery in Operational Excellence in a strong continuous improvement culture in HSSE, asset integrity and cost management. Provide site supervision in the Perform Turnaround space to ensure that all scopes are executed in alignment to company quality standards and integrated schedule.
Duties and responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Support Commissioning and start-up activities.
- Provide frontline supervision to third party contractors.
- Develop and manage the turnaround activity listing during the planning phase.
- Develop and manage all turnaround documents in accordance to company standards.
- Perform turnaround readiness reviews with all key stakeholders.
- Lead simultaneous risk assessments for low to complex activities.
- Support logistics planning for equipment and personnel.
- Manage all daily/weekly shutdown cadence meetings.
- Review work practices to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Review procedures and processes with a focus on optimizing safety, schedule, and cost.
- Support hands on tool time assessment to improve turnaround efficiency.
- Assure competency of labour disciplines

Experience requirements:
- More than 7-10 years of relevant field experience
Education requirements:
- Engineering Diploma or equivalent
