Description
Responsible for supporting the achievement of the Human Resource department’s goals and objectives by providing comprehensive administrative support to the daily operations of the department
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists in the recruitment process by administering pre-employment tests as required and compiling orientation packages for new hires.
- Perform all duties related to new employee hires by providing assistance in the recruitment and selection process by maintaining the Company’s Candidate Database, setting up recruitment interviews, conducting screening interviews, performing reference checks, preparing employment contracts and conducting orientation.
- Establishes, maintains and controls personnel, employees, recruitment relations records, files, correspondence, reports and organization charts.
- Administers and maintains the Company’s benefits including Leave benefits, Health, Life & Pensions Plans in an accurate and timely manner.
- Prepares appraisal packages for managers for probationary, interim and annual performance reviews.
- Prepares reports, memos and correspondences of a general nature for the Human Resources Department.
- Coordinates the logistical arrangements for the Company’s social activities such as the Recognition and Reward Programme.
- Assists the department as needed to ensure goals and objectives are achieved
- Performs duties with adherence to the Company’s HSSE and Quality procedures and practices.
- Ensures that good housekeeping practices are maintained at all times.
- Completes special projects and other related duties as assigned by the Executive.
- Maintains confidentiality.
- Any other related duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications:
- Certificate in a Human Resource related field / A University degree in a Human Resource related field (Prefered).
Experience:
- A minimum of three (3) years experience in the field of human resources.
- Experience in Industrial Relations would be an asset.
- Experience in operating and maintaining a similar telephone system is an asset
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge of current human resource and industrial relations practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent planning and coordinating skills
- Team Player
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
