Job Summary
  • Management of the infrastructure and execution of Project works – Oil Spill Response, Industrial Cleaning, Site Remediation
  • Pre job planning and mobilization
  • Operational/Project Management
 
Job Function
 
  • Job planning, conduct site visits and preparation of cost and proposals for prospective jobs
  • Scheduling jobs and allocating resources to execute effective site operations
  • Mobilize, deploy and demobilize equipment and personnel
  • Management of technicians and personnel during jobs
  • Mobilize, deploy and demobilize equipment and responders required to undertake a competent spill response clean up exercise

Job Requirements


Ideal Candidate
  • Degree in Environmental Science or Marine Biology. Related experience in operational management in similar service package.
  • Experience with marine vessel operations, repair and maintenance.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in operations management.
  • Working knowledge of the operation of mechanical equipment, such as, small engines, pumps, hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Possess the ability to organize and ensure the workday and departmental work plans are organized through established operating systems, maintenance of priorities, goals and objectives.
  • Ensures compliance of safety procedures and practices in all operations.
  • Working knowledge of radios and navigational equipment.
  • Insight on maritime requirements, laws and licensing requirements in Trinidad and Tobago
  • Supervises the maintenance and operation of sea-going vessels.
