Service Desk Assistant
Position Summary:
To assist the Service Desk Co-ordinator with the delivery parts procurement, escalation and service support to customers and vendors. Also, assist in managing the Service Desk and the coordination of the general operations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Log all calls and ensure the register is kept up-to-date.
- Coordinate and complete the parts return process.
- Follow up on all calls and cases internally to ensure completion/closure
- Assist with items as guided and directed by the Service Desk Coordinator
- Coordinate the general Administrative Operations of the Service Desk
- Provide relevant reports as they relate to the administrative function as requested.
- Act on behalf of the Service Desk Coordinator when he/she is absent or unavailable.
Requirements
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Electronic/Computer Engineering.
- At least 2-5 years’ experience in a diverse computerized environment.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong organizational skills
- The ability to work independently
- The ability to multitask
