Job Title: Stores Clerk

Core Discipline: To procure items and maintain accurate inventory level records.

Reports to: Manager/Supervisor/Head F & A

Job Purpose:
To procure items and maintain accurate inventory level records, vehicle records and employee timekeeping.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Monitor inventory shelves for service parts and the tyre stock
  • Maintain a clean and organised Stores Room with items labelled.
  • Maintain a professional manner in the workplace
  • Ensure proper communication maintained to ensure the flow of work
  • Ensure the required reports are sent to the relevant departments on time
  • Update and maintain the required spreadsheets on a daily basis
  • Ensure all parts & goods received are in accordance with the PO & invoice
  • Follow up on all outstanding invoices.
  • Ensure invoices are processed on a timely basis.
  • Monitor Stationary & Grocery supply
  • Maintain filing system
  • Uphold all company policies and procedures
  • Participate in HSE Activities
  • Any other duties assigned by Managers/Supervisor/Directors

JOB SPECIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education, Skills And Training:
  • High School Certificate
  • Good working Knowledge of Microsoft 365 
  • Police Certificate of Good Character (COC)
  • Valid driver's License
  • HSE Orientation
  • HSE Training

Core Competencies:
  • Ability to work as a team
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Good hand to eye coordination, hearing & vision
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete task in a timely manner
  • Be responsive

Experience Required:
  • Prior experience in a similar position would be considered an asset
  • At least three (3) years experience in a similar position

Working Knowledge of the following considered an asset:
  • Microsoft 365
  • Health and Safety
  • STOW Criteria
