Job Title: Underwriting Manager

Job Summary: To efficiently and effectively manage the underwriting team on the day-to-day execution of all underwriting responsibilities, ensuring adherence to the established Underwriting Guidelines. Assist in annual reinsurance treaty negotiations.

Minimum Requirements:

ACII, CPCU, BSc Insurance & Risk Management or other equivalent general insurance designations or qualifications.
Must have extensive knowledge in underwriting all classes of general insurance including current general insurance developments and best practices, legislation and regulations.
Post-Graduate Qualifications will be an asset.
At least ten (10) years’ experience in a similar position.
Any combination of the above training and experience will be considered an asset.
