Kaizen Environmental Services (Trinidad) Limited is on the lookout for a forward-thinking IT Team Lead. If you are passionate about working with a leader in the industry, this could be the job for you!
What you will do:
Team Leadership & Coordination
- Provide guidance and task prioritization for the I.T. Coordinator and support staff.
- Assist the I.T. Manager in planning and executing I.T. projects.
- Monitor ticket queues and ensure timely resolution of user issues.
- Maintain clear documentation of systems, processes, and incidents.
Support, maintain, and troubleshoot:
- Hosted PBX systems
- Cisco switches and Ubiquiti WAN infrastructure
- Access points (Ubiquiti and other brands)
- Windows Server, Windows 10/11 environments
- IP surveillance systems and RFID access control
- Sharp networked copiers
- Assist with network performance monitoring and optimization.
- Apply software patches, firmware updates, and security configurations.
Provide support for:
- Sage Accounting
- CMMS and CRM platforms
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Support user onboarding/offboarding, including account setup and permissions.
- Manage inventory of desktops, laptops, printers, and I.T. peripherals.
- Oversee hardware lifecycle (deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning).
- Enforce security policies and assist with audits and system hardening.
- Respond to security alerts and escalate issues as needed.

Job Requirements
- Project management experience
- MCSE and or CCNA certification.
- A+ or Network+ certification (optional if the above is provided)
- Fluent in Windows Server & Active directory.
- Working knowledge of Azure active directory.
- Working knowledge of Teams administration.
- SolarWinds / Atlassian or comparable helpdesk software experience.
- Technical experience with Sage 50 accounting – installation
- M365 administration experience.
- Knowledge of IP surveillance systems and access control.
- Valid driver’s license (will be required to visit our site locations).
