Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated ACCA Level 3 Accountant (Strategic Professional) to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of the company’s financial operations. If you have strong technical expertise, strategic thinking, and a drive for excellence, we want to hear from you.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the full spectrum of accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, auditing, compliance, and strategic financial planning. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical knowledge, analytical thinking, and sound professional judgment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial projects and process improvements
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and oversee the day-to-day accounting functions.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Oversee payroll, bank reconciliations, and cash flow management.
- Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, legal, and tax obligations (local and international as applicable).
- Develop and implement accounting policies and internal controls.
- Prepare tax filings (VAT, corporate tax, etc.) and liaise with tax authorities.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insightful financial commentary.
- Contribute to budget planning, forecasting, and long-term financial strategies.
- Support senior management with financial analysis and business performance insights.
- Mentor and support junior accounting staff as required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- ACCA Level 3 Qualified
- A minimum of five (5) years in a senior accounting role
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field will be an asset
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, ICATT and other accounting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or SAP.
- Advanced Excel skills and data analysis capabilities.
- High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
