Job Summary:

Support implementation of the environmental strategy, ensuring compliance with ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS) requirements & applicable environmental regulations.  Provide technical expertise and assurance for environmental compliance, reporting and performance improvement.

Requirements:

• A first degree in Natural Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management, Engineering or related discipline from a recognised, accredited institution.
• A minimum of seven (7) years' work experience, the last three (3) of which involves managing HSSE within a Process Plant or Oil and Gas environment.
• Demonstrated experience in implementing or maintaining an Environmental Managementn System (ISO 14001).
• Experience in interpreting and advising on Regulations, HSSE Codes, Practices and Procedures and their application.
• Sound knowledge of Environmental Site Assessment, Sampling and Analysis; and task-based Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment process, training and assessment.
• A good understanding around the subject of climate change and the link to greenhouse gas emissions and international standards such as PAS2060, ISO 50001, ISO140001, ISO 14064, GHG Protocol.
• Knowledge and understanding of carbon emissions data collation, analysis and reporting, aligned to international industry standards.
