OVERVIEW

The National Parts Manager oversees the Demand and Supply, Wholesale and Retail aspect of TTTL’s spare parts business at all TTTL facilities. They are directly responsible for the sales, profitability, inventory management, achievement of the Company’s Parts Department. These objectives are accomplished by using proper purchasing and sales procedures, inventory control, staff utilization, security, pricing, and advertising. The Core Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

 

MAIN TASKS-

1. Manage and motivate Mangers/staff ensuring the adherence to all SOP and company internal controls to maintain a high level of Governance, and safety standards. 

2. Forecast goals for KPI’s (Average Fill Rate, Stock Months, level of obsolete stock, etc.) and Sales objectives for the department ensuring agreed targets are achieved.

3. Oversees stock order procedures, directs shipping and receiving of goods in the warehouse while ensuring they are proactively registered in the system to ensure timely processing.

4. Prepare and administers an annual operating budget for the parts department in collaboration with the National Service Manager, National Sales Manager and Sales Planning & Marketing Manager.

5. Maintain inventory levels consistent with the requirements of the service department, body shop, wholesale accounts and counter sales activities.

6. Establish competitive pricing parameters that generate sales and gross profit in keeping with budget.

7. Establish individual parts inventory levels consistent with PAC’s and TTC’s guidelines.

8. Responsible for achieving the department’s monthly sales and gross profit budget.

9. Develop strategies to expand Internal and External sales with the goal of increasing Toyota and Hino Genuine Parts network at strategic locations. 

10. Report on Sales Target Achievements. Make recommendations and develop initiatives to close gaps if necessary. 

11. Monitor the parts sales team to ensure sales targets are achieved and excellent customer service is being delivered at all locations.

12. Conduct Market Survey bi-annually to ensure TTTL’s Parts Price Competitiveness. Report on findings of the survey and make recommendations to close gaps.

13. Conduct Customer Surveys bi-annually to understand the VOC. Report on findings of the survey and make recommendations to close gaps.

14. Develop Sales Promotions and work closely with Marketing Team to ensure Promotional Targets are met and ROI are achieved.   

15. Responsible for the expansion of Counter, Fleet and Jobbers Sales Channels.

16. Develop and monitor guidelines for improving and ensuring maximum customer satisfaction.

17. Ensure that stock count is conducted at the middle and end of Year with appropriate reporting to Senior Management

18. Monitor and adjusts inventory to minimize obsolescence stock in line with budget and PAC’s and TTC’s guideline.

19. Set and enforce policies on the special ordering (Air and VOR orders) of parts. 

20. Analyze sales, expenses, and inventory monthly to maintain profit goals.

21. Develop and administer an aggressive wholesale parts program to achieve budget for external sales.

22. To conduct periodic facilities inspection with Safety Department to maintain a safe work environment, Ensuring compliance with TTTL’s Occupational Health Safety Management System program.

23. Ensure all new business and value chain activities including respective KPIs are implemented and achieved.

24. Conduct regular and routine PDCA + Kaizen activities to always improve the Parts Department and Operational Efficiency.

25. Any other job-related duties assigned by Management.
