JOB SUMMARY
The Operations Officer - Projects (Contract) provides support to the Finance/Operations team as relates to daily functions and related general ledger projects. This three-month contract role is critical to reconciling of suspense accounts, clearing key backlogs, transaction processing and enhancing audit and reporting readiness. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

•    Reconcile suspense accounts with the aim of clearing current transactions

•     Assist with clearing operational backlogs, particularly with unallocated deposits, Massy Internal Account and         Loan Pass through Accounts

•    Assist with customer loan statements and respond to related queries, ensuring prompt and accurate resolution

•    Perform teller duties in the absence of the main teller and as relief teller during lunch and non-rostered breaks

•    Assist with payment processing including bank posting and salary deductions

•    Collaborate with finance staff to strengthen internal processes and address gaps identified in prior audits or          reviews

•    Any other duties assigned by Head of Finance

 

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

•    Bachelor’s Degree in Banking and Finance or related field

•    1 years’ experience in related field particularly in a financial institution, bank, or lending company
