Job Title: WAREHOUSE CLERK

Location: SAN FERNANDO BRANCH
 
Job Purpose:
The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for maintaining the warehouse in accordance with Toyota’s Seven Step Storage techniques and picking/binning of spares in an accurate and timely manner. 
 
MAIN TASKS
  • Ensuring all spare parts invoiced over the counter and for workshops are picked accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Accepting all receipts into the warehouse from the Receiving/Dispatching Clerk.
  • Ensuring all items are binned within the stipulate time frame outlined in the SOP’s.
  • Reporting stock discrepancy to the Warehouse Supervisor immediately.
  • Ensuring the security of all spare parts stored in the warehouse by adhering to policies set out by the Parts Management team.
  • Maintaining warehouse equipment on an ongoing basis adhering to the Manufacturer’s service requirements.
  • Performing perpetual stock checks as per stock count schedule and report to the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Continuous implementation of Toyota’s Seven Step Storage Techniques.
  • Ensuring all pick tickets and invoices are accounted for and filed on a daily basis.
 
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3 CXC O’ Level passes including English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office specifically Excel and Word.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as invoices and department manuals.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • This position requires frequent standing, walking, kneeling, squatting and bending.
  • Excellent customer handling skills.
