Job Summary:  
Under minimum supervision, be responsible for ensuring that products are displayed in an appealing manner, managing inventory levels and working closely with sales and marketing teams to maximize sales; be responsible for analyzing sales data to make informed decisions about product placement and inventory management; keep up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to ensure our products remain competitive; collaborate with various departments and external vendors and assist in other areas of the Division as needed and ensure that the Company is projected as the Leader in the Industry and a Good Corporate Citizen.
 
Main functions:
Includes, but is not limited to, with the following:

• Ensure that stores shelves are stocked with the right types and quantities of products.
• Maintain store shelves by removing damaged products, tidying and cleaning shelves regularly and ensuring optimum display of products.
• Assist in the planning and execution of store display layouts.
• Acquire secondary placements in stores for products.
• Monitor stores inventory levels to ensure adequate product availability and prompt stores management to reorder when levels appear low.
• In conjunction with Sales Manager, arrange for return of damaged products.
• Create and maintain visually appealing product displays, inclusive of promotions, and rotate products in store.
• Ensure products are priced correctly and promotional materials are up-to-date.
• Build and maintain customer relationships by developing a good rapport with store managers and employees and provide feedback to the Sales Manager as needed.
• Ensure store staff is well informed on product details and promotions.
• Make recommendations for promotional strategies.
• Assist with installing and maintaining branding in stores.
• Provide feedback on competitors’ activities, industry trends, activities on trade, bestsellers and product performance.
• Coordinate, via the Sales Manager, with the Warehouse Department to ensure timely delivery of products to stores.
• In conjunction with the Sales Manager, plan and develop merchandising strategies, prepare visit schedule by reviewing priorities and discussing special instructions, product promotions, new products and price changes.
• Prepare reports and submit to the Sales Manager as needed.
• Work closely with the Sales Representatives
• Provide information by reporting growth, expansion or closing of retail locations in assigned territory.
• Ensure stores comply with Company policies and procedures and immediately notify the Sales Manager of any non-compliance.
• Maintain quality results by following and enforcing standards.

 
Minimum Requirements

• Five (5) O’levels, inclusive of Mathematics and English
• At least three (3) years’ experience in merchandising
• Excellent interpersonal / communication skills as well as strong planning and organizational skills
• Excellent customer relationship management skills
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Police Certificate of Character (not more than 6 months old)
• Vehicle in good working condition would be an asset
• Experience in the manufacturing industry would be an asset
• Training and certification in Customer Service would be an asset
