Job Title: Marketing Operations Lead

Reports To: Group Marketing Manager
 
Job Summary:  
Under minimum supervision, provide support to the Group Marketing Manager by assisting in the development and execution of marketing strategies and campaigns; analysing market and sales trends, managing cross-functional projects, optimizing marketing resources and ensuring the alignment of social media efforts with the Company’s vision; collaborate closely with the local sales team, oversee budgets, manage vendor relationships; track the success of marketing initiatives and ensure brand consistency in the market; assist in other areas of the Department as needed and ensure that the Company is projected as the Leader in the Industry and a Good Corporate Citizen.
 
Core Functions:
Includes but is not limited to the following:
  • Marketing Strategy & Execution:
    • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies and campaigns.
    • Analyse market and sales trends to provide actionable insights for strategy adjustments.
  • Project Coordination:
    • Coordinate cross-functional teams to streamline marketing processes and ensure project success.
    • Manage and optimize marketing tools, platforms, and resources for effective campaign execution.
  • Performance Tracking:
    • Track and report on performance metrics, collaborating with Brand Specialists to measure campaign success.
    • Monitor category budgets and oversee the allocation of resources for marketing activities.
  • Vendor & Budget Management:
    • Build and maintain strong partnerships with external vendors.
    • Manage payments and coordinate with the accounting department to ensure timely vendor payments.
  • Sales Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with the local sales team to ensure resources are allocated effectively.
    • Visit the trade to identify opportunities and support the successful execution of marketing campaigns.
  • Social Media Oversight
    • Oversee social media management across various agencies, ensuring that all efforts align with the company’s vision and marketing objectives.
 
Minimum Requirements
  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or Communications
  • At least four (4) years’ experience as a Marketing Lead or similar role, preferably at a supervisory level
  • Experience in managing marketing campaigns, budgets and vendor relationships
  • Must possess excellent  communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Must possess strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple teams and projects.
  • Must be proficient in using marketing tools and platforms with a strong understanding of social media management.
  • Must possess excellent analytical skills to assess market trends and campaign performance
  • Police Certificate of Character (not more than 6 months old)
  • Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and the Internet
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry would be an asset
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
