• Develop and implement strategies to expand the financial services arm aligned with organisational objectives.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the portfolio annually.

• Identify and assess financial risks, such as market risks, credit risks, and operational risks.
• Develop strategies to mitigate risks and safeguard the organization's financial assets.

• Develop and oversee the implementation of financial plans, budgets, and forecasts; optimizing expenses and improving revenue.
• Analyse financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess the financial health of the organization.

• Collaborate with the marketing team to effectively promote financial products.
• Implement innovative marketing strategies to enhance product visibility.

• Ensure all loan applications are processed efficiently and decisions (approval/decline) are made timely.
• Act on all leads promptly to maximize conversion rates.

• Ensure all operations comply with relevant regulations and standards.
• Maintain financial discipline and manage the arm's budget effectively.

• Generate and implement innovative ideas to improve and expand financial services.
• Develop strategic plans to deliver measurable business results.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar supervisory role within the financial services industry.
• Proven experience in lending, including public loans, staff loans, hire purchase etc.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute business growth strategies.
• Exceptional understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including marketing.
