Wasteco (Caribbean) Limited is searching for a Diesel Automotive Maintenance Technician for our La Brea Truck Yard operations.
ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Diesel Automotive Maintenance Technician’s responsibilities include Preventive/Predictive Maintenance, using CMMS to manage Maintenance Systems, maintenance and service of truck and heavy equipment, vacuum pumps and associated hydraulic systems.

Job Requirements
- Minimum Three (3) years’ experience in Diesel Automotive Mechanical Maintenance
- Experience using CMMS to manage Maintenance Systems
- Experience in maintenance and service of Vacuum Pumps, Hydraulic Lifts, trucks and trailers
- Experience with auto electrical (24volts System) will be considered an asset
- Must be computer literate in MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint;
- An enquiring and analytical mind, with a solid grasp of the underlying principles of Equipment Maintenance
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
Salary range - $45.00 to $50.00 per hour on a fortnight basis
