Description
Position: Promoter
Department: Marketing
Reports To: Marketing Manager/Assistant Marketing Manager
The Promoter will represent the face of the brand at promotional events, and thrive in attracting new customers.
Responsibilities:
- Greet potential customers in accordance with established standards
- Create a positive image, and influence potential customers
- Communicate on all marketing promotions
- Provide information on products/services
- Interact with members of the public by distributing flyers and promotional material
- Must be able to work independently and with a team environment
- Should be flexible with a willing ‘can-do’ attitude
- Maintain a positive attitude, strong work ethic as well as be self-motivated and resilient
- Must enjoy interacting with Corporate clients and the general public
- Will be required to work weekends and after hours
Requirements:
- At least five O’Levels including Maths and English
- Confident personality
- Articulate, approachable and pleasant
- Strong customer service, communication and social skills
- Well-groomed and fashionable
- Experience in promotions would be an asset
- Prior working experience in a fast-paced retail environment
- Computer literacy and strong Administrative abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent presentation and implementation skills
Personal Attributes:
- Must be self motivated and have an out-going personality
- Must take pride in personal appearance and be well groomed
- Must be able to think on your feet
- Must be well spoken
- Should be punctual and have excellent time management skills
