Position: Warehouse Attendant-Freezer/Chiller/Dry
Location: Arima
Terms: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
- Unpack goods received at MFFS and secure in the freezer/chiller in accordance with Warehouse Goods Placement practices.
- Ensure that the correct goods are pulled as per invoice.
- Ensure Fist In First Out (FIFO) rules are followed for rotating stock.
- Maintain product supply by checking shelves for appropriate inventory levels.
- Check stock for outdated or damaged supplies.
- Ensure all pertinent paperwork is completed properly, neatly and turned in daily.
- Maintain all areas of work space ensuring that environment is free from any signs of potential pest evidence or debris or damages.
- To operate forklifts in a safe manner.
- Assists in stock take exercise as requested.
- Any other related duties as required.
Position Requirements:
- Three (3) CSEC passes.
- Two years’ work experience in a similar capacity.
- Ability to read and write clearly.
- Physically strong and able to do heavy lifting.
- Can work in cold conditions.
- A forklift Licence will be an asset.
- Experience in using a panna tracker bar coding hand held scanner will be an asset.
