Description

• Controlling pests on-site in a variety of Residential and Commercial accounts
• Physically inspecting a variety of structures to determine the presence of pests, calculating the severity of infestations and the degree of structural damage. This may include inspecting roofs, attics, crawl spaces and other tight spaces
• Communicating directly with homeowners, homebuyers, and their agents regarding the work to be accomplished
• Creating diagrams and graphs indicating the type, degree, and location of infestations
• Identifying invading pests including but not limited to rats, mice, roaches, termites, wasps, ants, spiders, mosquitoes etc.
• Setting and securing mechanical traps and baits for pests
• Cleaning work site upon completion of service job, ensuring no hazardous material is left unattended or in a dangerous location
• Preparing service reports for all completed jobs securing the signature of the customer before departure
• Collecting cash or cheque payments from identified customers at the end of the service job, and submits to the office on return from job site
• Operating company vehicle in a safe and responsible manner
• Informing management of any customer issues or concerns that are not completely resolved to the satisfaction of the customer
• Reporting to management any damage that occurs as a result of treatment providing necessary information to secure appropriate response and resolution
• Ensuring company procedures and local laws are followed to ensure the safety of themself, our customers, and the public
• Attending to emergency call outs for pest infestations
• Performing other related duties as may be required
• Must possess good customer service skills and be customer focused
• Must possesses a valid driver’s license and a Police Certificate of Character.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal guidance and as part of a team.
• Must have a thorough knowledge of common practices, tools and terminology used to control pests as well as the use and characteristics of pesticides
• Must maintain professional appearance including clean company uniform, appropriate footwear and maintaining personal hygiene
• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions and to work from sketches, drawings, plans or specifications
• Must be skilled in the use of tools and equipment necessary to perform tasks (includes iPad, rigs, termite rods, etc.)

• Minimum 5 years of experience with pest control products, services, and treatments
• Proven and verifiable track record in sales
• Valid driver’s license and a Police Certificate of Character
