Job Summary
We are seeking a talented IT/IVS Engineer to provide technical expertise and support for the deployment and maintenance of IT and intelligent video surveillance systems in Suriname. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a customer-centric mindset.
Responsibilities
- Technical Design: Develop detailed low-level designs for IT and IVS systems, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
- Network Configuration: Configure and manage IT and IVS equipment, including servers, storage, cameras, and network components.
- Customer Support: Provide technical support to customers, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Project Delivery: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IT and IVS projects, meeting project timelines and quality standards.
- Knowledge Transfer: Share technical knowledge with field service engineers and other team members.
- Documentation: Create and maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation.
Requirements
- Strong technical knowledge of IT infrastructure (servers, storage, cloud) and intelligent video surveillance systems (cameras, NVRs, VMS).
- Experience in commissioning and troubleshooting IT and IVS equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed.
- Customer-centric approach to problem-solving.
- Experience with network protocols and technologies.
- Certifications in IT or IVS-related fields.
