Description

• Supervises team members and ensures compliance with all rules and regulations including HSE rules.
• Assists in maintaining and receiving inventory
• Monitors all incoming and outgoing materials in the Steel and Lumber-Yard
• ensures that the security of the premises and goods is optimum
• Ensures that materials are stocked safely and in their assigned spaces
• Assist with customer complaints and queries
• Oversees and co-ordinates the traffic flow of vehicles coming in and out of the Steel and Lumber-Yard
• Ensures employees comply with all personal protective equipment requirements and policy
• Ensures that there is no unauthorized use of company equipment.
• Promotes statutory standards on safety and health
• Support manager with daily duties of the steel and lumber yard as needed
• Any other duties that may be required for the efficient performance of this job classification.

• Associate degree in Business Administration or a related field
• At least 5 years’ experience in a similar or related field;
• Proficient experience in the construction or hardware industry will be an asset
• Working knowledge of inventory management will be an asset
• Certification in Health and Safety will be an asset
• Certification in Supervisory Management will be an asset
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Must be a team player.
• Must have good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be able to work on Saturdays
