Job Title: VEHICLE SALES MANAGER
 
Job Purpose:
The Vehicle Sales Manager is responsible for achieving monthly vehicle sales targets in keeping with company guidelines. This goal is achieved through the provision of hands-on leadership, excellent customer service and the development of a trained, motivated and professional sales team.

MAIN TASKS
  • Achieve the Divisions monthly and annual vehicle sales targets.
  • Plan, develop, organize and evaluate the operations of the Sales team.
  • Ensure Sales Representative meet or exceed their sales targets.
  • Comply with and enforce Company policies.
  • Ensure Management Reporting deadlines are met.
  • Ensure that the Division’s customer database is maintained.
  • Identify the recruitment and training needs of the Sales team.
  • Implement Retail Sales Enhancement Activities with the Sales team.
  • Ensure all team members are trained in product knowledge.
  • Review documents related to the sale of vehicles to ensure completeness.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
  • First Degree in Business Management or related discipline.
  • Five (5) years’ experience in Sales in the Motor Vehicle Industry.
  • Experience in supervising a team of professionals.
  • Computer literate, Microsoft Suite.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
